After posting about the lovely Villa Trotta this week, I had a request for more photos of the villa and surroundings from my photographer friend Justin. It's a place of such tranquil beauty and happy memories that I was delighted. I hope you enjoy them. :-)

Perhaps next week I'll share more photos from the surrounding area. :-)
I'm so looking forward to the next few days! I'll be resting, visiting rellies at the beach, reading Eastward to Tartary: Travels in the Balkans, the Middle East, and the Caucasus , and watching Churchill's Bodyguard.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend! :-)
Beautiful photos. They all look so quiet and warm. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Amuse. :-) They are so wonderfully peaceful, aren't they? Makes me take a deep breath and settle down. :-)
ReplyDeleteJustin again... thanks much for more photos of the Villa. Leslie and I are salivating over your experiences. Are you on business or just having a good time?
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Justin! Actually, I'm at home now. I was at the villa in May and it was purely for pleasure. :-) It is such a wonderful place in Southern Italy, well off the beaten track, up in the mountains. The best part? We rented the entire thing for a week for $1200!! That's $240 per person. Amazing. :-)
ReplyDeleteThese all speak warmth to me....And stunning price for a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMe too, dear Oz. :-) I feel glowy inside after looking at them. I couldn't believe the price when I found it!!! Such an amazing deal for us penny-pinching girls. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the photos of the windows and the doors! They are all really beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ungourmet! :-) I'm so glad you like them. :-)
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS. Brings the best memories flooding back. You simply must do more picture posts, m'dear. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a fab weekend. One note: Churchill's Bodyguard has 3 or 4 eps on EACH DISC (we missed them on the first disc; sent it back after just watching just the first ep) and so we're watching disc one all over again. :) FYI! It's ust so interesting!
How beautiful! All the clay tile and stone add such a gorgeous, comforting contrast! Love the laundry drying rack!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine being in a place so beautiful. It looks amazing...
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!!! What would I give for a week in such scenery. Love it. I am so glad you shared more photos.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads-up about the DVD's. I will make sure I watch EVERYTHING. :-) Love you!
I love the laundry rack too, Michelle! :-) It gave me such a thrill of delight to see our sundresses billowing in the wind. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt was absolute bliss, Joanne! It was so wonderful that I'm hoping to take my whole family there on our family trip to Europe this fall. :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased you like the pictures, Velva! :-) I can't describe how much good it did my heart to spend a week there. Worth every penny. :-)
